1. I was talking with someone today who has followed Gallup closely...
...and thinks it's a troubling sign that Obama doesn't have more of a lead, given the last 7+ years.

3. It's a troubling sign for the GOP that McCain is never in the lead
Okay, maybe once and then by one point. He's usually several points behind.

That's what gives the GOP nightmares.

4. This guy has used Gallup research in his work for many years and says...

Obama's lead is way too small for anyone to be comfortable that he'll win ~ he predicts that it will depend on whether or not young voters actually register and get to the polls (or arrange for absentee ballots).

We have work to do!!

7. Actually we both want to see enough of a lead to ensure a win...
Instead, we have a very minimal lead ~ not enough to cover the dirty tricks.

8. We will get there
Think of how behind Clinton was at times. He had a stronger opponent than John McGrinch.

2. Three percent lead, I'll take it! :)
That comes out to about a four million vote lead in the popular vote nationwide.

6. GOP helpless to aid McCain - only solution is to keep up attacks against Obama...
