Anyone see the sneering and vicious Lindsey Graham on MTP??

He was on next to Senator Joe Biden. Immediately he went to attacking Barack Obama in a most personal way. He almost looked like Ol' Strom Thurmond with his slobbering and bitterness.

For once, it was not good enough to say that Obama had "flip-flopped" on his "public financing" position. Lindsey said he had "broken his word" to the American people. It was somehow different from McCain "flip-flopping" on the oil drilling issue or the Bush taxcut issue. McCain didn't "break his word".

Joe Biden showed a great deal of restraint against Lindsey, in my opinion. Graham acted like an attack dog on this issue of "public financing". It must have really cut them deep that for once in our lifetimes, a Democrat will have more money than them to fight their personal attacks. It's just hard for them to accept, I suppose?

It's unfortunate that we do not have a strong Democrat running against Graham this time around. Unfortunately, I think there is a former Republican, until recently, running against Graham and probably has little chance of winning. it would be sweet to see him return to the private sector - especially in this great economy he has helped to create.

What was hilarious was how he was exposed for his flip-flopping on his statements about offshore oil drilling. He got spanked hard.
