He just asked former OK senator David Boren, Obama advisor, who is smarter, Obama or Bush.

2. That's an insulting question IMHO
That's like being compared to a rock. Who's smarter, DeposeTheBoyKing or this pet rock?

7. His response was that Obama's IQ was higher than almost any political figure and that
more than that, better than that, he knows what he does not know.....

Now, not to be too bold, but my IQ is pretty high, but in my younger days I did not know what I did not know.... that is a tremendous asset if you do.

14. Yes!

Well said. I consider myself to be pretty bright and have a high IQ too, for whatever that's worth, but I am so much "smarter" than I was as an obnoxious twentysomething because I know when to look something up or become more educated on a topic before speaking about it. I see that quality in Obama in spades. Great response to a de rigueur stupid Tweety question.

16. Did Boren really say, "He knows what he does not know....."?
Jebus! I'm having Donald Rumsfeld flashbacks!

20. Why?
In contrast to Rummy, what Boren said makes sense. Oh, and he's not a dissembling jackass (even if he did vote to confirm Thomas - - maybe helping Obama is part of his atonement for that act of cowardice).

22. Because it sounds like something Rumsfeld said.......
about known knowns and unknown knowns and knowing what we know and knowing what we don't know.

Speaking only in reference to Rumsfeld, no one could say something like that without being confined to their own rubber room!

6. EDDIE RENDELL!!!
Is there any context wherein Chris Matthews doesn't announce his eternal betrothal to Rendell?

"FLORIDA! OBAMA WINS FLORIDA IF HE PICKS EDDIE RENDELL! BIG EDDIE! CALL ME EDDIE! I'M LONELY, EDDIE"

I know he thinks he's a Senator come 2011, but Jesus.

12. That he could ask that question with a straight face
indicates a great acting job or a complete disconnect from reality. Matthews is a maggot and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a microphone.

23. The biggest mistake the left of center ever made was brushing Bush off as stupid
his animal cunning intelligence is as honed as it gets. Molly Ivins warned us about it but we didn't listen.

I'm on record that Obama is smarter though.

30. I am still convinced Bush is stupid. His handlers manipulate him to act in certain ways.
He is a simple, stupid man without a conscious. His handlers manipulate him to get him to act in certain ways. His ego, his essential meanness, his relationship with the drink, his stubborness, his unearned sense of entitlement, his fetishes (bald male heads, women who look like his mother), are just some of the characteristics they have to work with. He really is an idiot, imho.

He is also quite lazy, which is really their only challenge.

35. Tweety should have a salad bar "sneeze guard" installed on his face..
when's he going to compare "packages" ala Bush the Idiots faked flight to the carrier when the stupid shit didn't have the brains to loosen his straps and his Mr Happy was engorged.. Hell, Tweedy was engorged and drooling over what a real Man Bush was.. I bet he has the Airman Bush "doll" that was produced after that, takes it out at home, and strokes himself in Double Secret Places..

What a schlemiel.. He just like any drunken loudmouth at a bar that won't stop talking bullshit until you swell their mouth shut.. :)

Thank you Corporations, for foisting this Altered Boy on us..
