Fox News Poll: Obama 42 McCain 39
I'm sure they tried every which way to beef up McCain's numbers - but this is pretty pathetic for McCain - expecially considering the source.

1. I'm starting to think that Fox may be taking at least a glance at the big
picture and the inevitable return of the Fairness Doctrine. They have to know the enormous overhaul that's going to (hopefully, yeah, it will)take place with these conglomerates. Murdoch may be despicable but he's not stupid.

8. I think you're right
They seem to be moving to the center more lately. Of course, they have a l-o-n-g way to go.

4. But NOTHING to get complacent about!
What we'll be facing, is a gang that will not only be looking at getting tossed out of office, but they may also be looking at serious jail time. Real DESPERATE people!

5. This is not good numbers for either candidate.

There is no strong third party candidate like Perot in '92, so the fact Obama is only at 42% should be a concern.

However, it's a far bigger concern for McCain if he can't even crack 40%, even though he's probably a bit more known than Obama.

6. Push Poll: Jeremiah Wright, Lapel Pin and Enemies List questions...

This poll has questions on negative issues about the democrats right near the start, in the middle, and at the end.

Early on, it asks *two* questions about patriotism with respect to lapel pins.

In the middle, it asks whether people think Hillary and Bill have made an "enemies list" of Obama supporters to get even with.

The *very last* "leave a bad taste in your mouth" question is on the Reverend Wright issue.

There is not a single question about a negative issue for McCain.

(I guess you could count the one about age, but they formed that question to make sure they compared it to Obama's inexperience, so it's a neutral question.)

What a bunch of scumbags these folks are.

Scott does wonders for McCain when he does his polls.

7. 19% Undecided?
That's the most I've seen so far, by far. The average nationwide is 10.8%.

Maybe Democrats hear "This is a Faux News Poll" and hang up, lol

10. That Might be What's Happening
although the Fox poll was actually not too bad the last couple of elections.
