6. Last poll done by SUSA on Ohio also had Obama up by 9
Edited on Tue Jun-17-08 09:59 AM by thewiseguy
There have not been any new polls on Ohio for a month.

3. Happily surprised
"Obama leads by equal margins among men and women, and has a four point lead with white voters while also holding a dominant 75-21 advantage with African Americans."

9. I think Survey USA had Obama up 48-39 in mid-May.
This would tend to confirm that Ohio is going blue.

13. I'm looking forward to the next Michigan poll.
Would love to see Obama build his lead there as well. If he does, McCain will be in big trouble, what with Virginia and NC being very much in play.

15. The immediate strategy is now to solidify Obama's lead in the blue states
And once that mission is accomplished (Mainly in Michigan and Pennsylvania), then you would see Obama and the party shifting their focus to places such as FL, Ohio, and Virginia.

16. PPP has been one of the most accurate pollsters.
Edited on Tue Jun-17-08 10:16 AM by RDANGELO
If the election was held today, you could bet the results would be within one or two points from the spread.
It would be almost impossible for McCain to win without Ohio. Obama could survive because of his strength in the West.

17. Actually, ppp has been very inconsistent.
Very accurate in some states, way off in others. But I think they have this one right.

18. SUSA has been very consistent
Since their and PPP's numbers match then I believe it.
