Vice President Gore should now head the Vice President Search Committee

The reasons are obvious and the benefits would be enormous.

Everyone would accept the decision that he assisted in.

2. It's OBAMA's choice, remember, it's not by popular vote.

5. He would simply narrow the choices and help vet the candidates

The choice is going to be very sensitive for some - especially Senator Clinton supporters if she is not chosen.

VP Gore's assistance will help make the decision unanamous.

3. Where has he been hiding?
He said nothing lately about the election. He endorsed Al Franken but hasn't endorsed Obama.

6. well we can start by making a lot of noise
and we if everybody thinks its a really good idea

TVOR can always call the headquarters - we earned a couple of favors when he found the MS delegates.

First lets see if people think its a good idea or not.

12. As much as I like Gore...
I'm not confident in his ability to pick vice presidential candidates.

13. well the committee doesn't pick anyone - they analyze the qualities and
work with the candidates to go through a vetting process over a lot of confidential material.

My point was more political though in that any decision that had Gore as a part of it would be recieved well.
