30. Survey Methods worth reading, as well. Excerpted below.
Survey Methods

For the Gallup Poll Daily tracking survey, Gallup is interviewing no fewer than 1,000 U.S. adults nationwide each day during 2008.

The general-election results are based on combined data from June 7-9, 2008. For results based on this sample of 2,633 registered voters, the maximum margin of sampling error is ±2 percentage points.

Interviews are conducted with respondents on land-line telephones (for respondents with a land-line telephone) and cellular phones (for respondents who are cell-phone only).

In addition to sampling error, question wording and practical difficulties in conducting surveys can introduce error or bias into the findings of public opinion polls.

The expectations for this will be higher than anything else.

But just think. If he wins this, we will get an inaugural address...Even cooler.

17. Again, forget about Obama for a minute. Look at the trend for McCain...
This guy can't even get above 48%, even when supposedly he had all the advantages with Indies and the time to reintroduce himself to voters while Obama and Clinton were duking it out.

We should be celebrating the fact that this guy cannot break 50% no matter what the conditions are!!

22. We need to work hard to get Obama beyond that 50% threshold.
I'm not convinced that McSame can do it, but he may succeed if he goes negative and runs a nasty campaign.

Remember that the losing candidate is usually the one who calls for debates and goes negative. These should serve as indicators that McSame isn't doing very well.

I simply cannot wait for the debates. It'll be a treat to witness McSame lose his cool and show his true colors. The man doesn't have the temperament to serve as CIC. That's simply the truth and even his own Republican party cannot stand him and would rather have Obama or stay at home on election day.

25. EXACTLY!! But we still have tough road and hard work ahead of us!
He must win BIG to be able to prevent vote stealing. Remember Greg Palast who believes that even with turnout, those machines are no joke. Turnout must be HUGE but states and local precincts needs to be prepared to handle such a turnout.
