I cried
that speech was really good. I am really glad she went this way...
Did anyone else cry, especially Obama supporters?
I think she ended this perfectly....finally.

3. Obama supporter - and yes she definitely brought tears to my eyes
She handled this brilliantly today and with class - like a true professional. We need her energy in public service.

9. I didn't cry
but I teared up a little when she talked about the woman casting an absentee ballot from her hospice room, and her husband then going out to vote for her.

It was a wonderful speech.

10. Oh I did too. It was an outstanding speech; the best of her career.
The stakes are too high to dwell on what might have been...

It was just beautiful.

11. me too. My kids were on either side of me wiping my tears.
I was especially moved when she talked about our children taking for granted that an African American or a woman could be president.

13. The best speech of hers that I've heard
It took me a few minutes to figure out why I thought so, then I realized there was a lot more "we" and a lot less "I".

14. I cried, though I am a Hillary supporter
I'm in the youth demographic. I supported Dean last primary, but this was the first time I REALLY got behind a candidate. Donating money to Hillary and wanting it so bad for her, going to see her husband speak when he came to my state. It was my first time with all of that. I was really energized for this one, and it was very sad and crushing, but...

now I am going to do what I can to help elect Obama.

Audible gasps with tears flowing.

She made me proud to be a female and a democrat today.

17. As a woman, I was deeply moved.
I am not a Hillary supporter, but this was bigger than that. I remember the Ferraro run and was excited about that but too young to really "get it". This I get. No matter how I feel about Hillary, this is huge.

I don't accept the women who are saying we'll never get another chance. I think that's asinine. 20 years between Ferraro and Hillary will not, IMHO be 20 years more.

Working in a non traditional profession for a woman, I see the groundwork laid by my mentors in the field to where now it's just not an eyebrow raiser to see a woman in technology, and that happened fast, I can tell you.

So no, it won't be long. With the right woman we will be POTUS. It will be in my lifetime. I firmly believe that.

18. I totally cried and I'm an Obama supporter
I was moved by her graciousness and, as a woman and mother of a young daughter, so very proud of what she accomplished.

:applause: It was an amazing speech.
