What is Left Today?
It used to mean caring about civil rights.

It used to mean caring about disabled people.

It used to mean caring about anyone that needed help.

That is not a bad thing.

fuck those who think it is.

1. Before all that . . .
Edited on Mon Aug-16-04 11:54 PM by rwenos
being "left" was for limiting corporate power, limiting the concentration of wealth, the progressive income tax, the right of labor to organize, strong anti-trust enforcement, and consumer legislation.

There are those who would say the Left is still about those things, despite Pub attempts to insult any mention of those issues as "class warfare."

So what's wrong with class warfare?!
