5. Ouch
WTF? Edwards was my first choice for many reasons. He's a good man, a good Democrat, and a good friend to Hillary and Obama. So explain "washed up and out"?

2. Awesome.
Didn't John unequivocally say NO... TWICE?

John was my first choice. This would be my #1 choice. Then maybe Wexler.

13. I think it could be a good match. If Edwards is able to pull in some white southerners and...
"working class" people from the rust belt, then we might be able to flip some of the Southern states with high AA populations, and solidify Obama's grasp of PA and OH.

19. True. He could pull in a bunch of warmongers, too, since he co-sponsored the Iraq War Resolution

14. He polls the best
And before you say "Yeah well, it's because of name recognition" - so what? Helping the ticket means helping the ticket, regardless of why you do it. He starts higher and has less of a risk of being defined by the GOP. Someone like Sebelius runs a strong risk of being GOPd before we can get her situated as a good Democrat.

17. Worst possible VP pick
You claim you want to a run a campaign based on change? Then why are you running reruns?

Not to mention this would be Edwards' fourth campaign platform in as many years...
