Offering Hillary the VP spot...
...I have real problems with this when the plan is to get her to agree to refuse to take it and then it is offered.

I don't trust her as far as I could throw the WH and I believe that she would lie and say she will refuse when she really plans to accept the spot cuz she wants to be on that ticket and at this point she does not care if it is the Number One or the Number Two spot.

I do not want her on the ticket as the VP for many reasons, but primary among them is that she defeats the whole meaning of why Obama ran.

JMHO

4. It's essentially blackmail, and I think Obama should show strength and leadership...

by refusing to even entertain the idea. The flood of superdelegates has already been at full tide for two days; more of HRC's SDs will move to Obama, more uncommitteds will come out for him. She can concede gracefully, or she can be publicly humiliated by the loss of all of her support within the party. Those are her options, at this point, realistically. It's not up to the loser to DEMAND to be offered the number two spot on the ticket.

5. That is how it hits me, too....
...she will hold the Dem Party hostage until she gets whatever it is that she currently think she wants.

I just want her to go away.....
