Two separate but very nice things happened to me

this morning. Sitting in my office at 8:00 am, a fellow 60yr old female worker came in and exclaimed how excited she was about Barack last nite and how historic it was. She was very involved in the civil rights movement and had tears in her eyes as we discussed his speech last nite. It was a great moment for me to share this with her.

Ten minutes later, an 18 yr old female co-worker came in to my office, all exuberant and clapping. She was so excited about last nite and the fact that for the first time in American history, we have a AA candidate and that she will be able to vote for him.

Two ends of the age spectrum, two almost identical reactions.....It was a good morning down here in Mobile Al.:)

excited about a Obama presidency. I was just saying to my husband the other night.....when four years ago I was crying that Kerry lost the election, just crying, and feeling so terrible for our country. Wow what a difference four years makes...... :patriot:
