Last night, I managed my anger poorly
Maybe I was mad at myself for giving Hillary the benefit of the doubt that she really would do what's best for the party and concede last night. Alas, it was not to be.

Up to this point, I have blown off almost all of the infighting as "politics" - politics is a full contact sport and we are quite the passionate and opinionated lot here on DU. That's a damn good thing. But last night, the moment Hillary said "I will be making no decisions tonight" - from deep within my belly I shouted at her, no need to repeat what I shouted, but it's a good thing I live in the country. I would not have wanted anybody to hear what I called her.

For the first time in this entire political slog over the last 16 months, my anger affected my night and my sleep. Exercise and yoga did not release it, and I still feel it today. Nature has a beautiful way of creating balance in one's life and I'm blessed to be surrounded by it, but to quote Obi-Wan Kenobi (from Star Wars), I felt a disturbance in the force...

Balance needs to be restored to our party and it won't begin to happen until Hillary concedes it's over.

peace~

"last night, I handled my anger, badly" It's Hillary's fault that I didn't sleep and that I couldn't step back and give her a couple of days to graciously accept defeat.

I agree that balance needs to be restored to our party. It won't happen though until the Obama folks simmer down. It is not uncalled for to have a candidate bow out a couple of days after losing. As a matter of fact, I've seen a grace period more often than not.

9. Do you happen to know of any
politician that took more than a few hours to concede? This is a serious question, because frankly I don't remember any that were notable, but then again maybe I wasn't paying attention?

Yeah... I thought that might be kind of a no brainer... but... apparently not.
