11. I did.
I told Hillary that I supported her first campaign for Senate enthusiastically, but that enthusiasm has turned to dismay, disappointment, and disgust given the current conduct of the Hillary for President campaign.

There was other stuff, but my basic point was for her to concede.

21. I Told Her I Was Proud of Her
I thanked her for all she has done for the country, including for civil rights. I told her her courage and bravery at stepping up and taking the hits in this sexist world is a model for our granddaughters.
I told her not to take the VP position on the Democratic ticket because she'd be more valuable in a different government position, or in civilian life working for the causes she has so strongly supported for so long.

31. I've been very tempted to change my avatar ever since he sucked up.
I've kept it just to make it clear I voted for him in the CA primary even though he'd just dropped out. I voted to protest the party machinery that forced his hand.

Just as I'll vote for Al Gore or RFK, Jr. next November in protest of the way the party machinery has joined forces with the Repuke MSM to trash Hillary and try to force her out (in the event Obama represents us in November). To be perfectly clear, I would do the same thing if the shoe were on the other foot: if the party bosses and MSM had trashed Obama and tried to force him out instead of her.

yes, the problem is the two party system in particular
though a weak third party wouldn't accomplish a thing either.

We need a Labour party because at this point the Democrats and the Republicans both represent corporate interests over workers interests.

She should work to get universal healthcare and finish the job she started in the 1990s, but get it done this time.

She is not qualified to be a Supreme Court Justice though.

45. More qualified? um, no.
I vehemntly opposed his nomination, but

Before joining the Supreme Court on September 29, 2005, Roberts was a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit for three years.

Previously, he spent 14 years in private law practice and held positions in Republican administrations in the U.S. Department of Justice and Office of the White House Counsel.

Hillary Clinton is not qualified to be a Supreme Court justice. Just like Harriett Myers, that nomination would be a pathetic attempt at politcisizing the high court. There are plenty of well-qualified liberal justices.

Hillary Clinton is not one of them.

Hillary, you've run a great race but IT'S OVER. You are DAMAGING the party and our chances in November by continuing on in this race. It is PAST time for you to CONCEDE for the good of your COUNTRY and your PARTY and for WOMEN (you are making a shameful example of a strong woman by NOT knowing when to quit after you've LOST I'm sorry to say).

AFTER YOU CONCEDE please get some treatment. I honestly believe you have some issues to contend with. Your narcissism is unfortunately palpable and it is damaging YOUR career, and YOUR country, YOUR gender and YOUR party. When a mental health problem begins destroying your LIFE is time to get HELP.

Regards,

44. Wow... that is pretty harsh.
Some things you might consider, if you've never worked a lot of hours with a campaign…and I mean A LOT of hours. It can put a person in a perpetual state of exhaustion…and truly "out of their element." This is the main reason I made allowances, in the beginning, for HRC's mistakes. I wouldn't go as far as diagnosing her….though she is the most stubborn candidate I ever remember (in my lifetime, anyway!).

61. What I said
Dear Sen. Clinton -

You ran a ground-breaking race. You sent your message out loud and clear. You are to be commended for your actions.

It is time for you to show leadership that you are capable of. For yourself, for your supporters, and for your nation.

It is time for you to rally your support and your followers behind the person that the majority of Democrats in the United States have supported as their choice for President of the United States of America.

It is time to lead by example Sen. Clinton.

Time to end your campaign and throw your support and your followers support behind the next President of the United States, Barack Obama.

It was a hard fought race in a historical year Sen. Clinton. Now, do the right thing for yourself, your supporters, and your country.

63. I did...
Weird thing tho... the comment form started with a statement saying "Tell Hillary that you stand with her..." or some such thing:silly: so my comment came with that as it's preface. I am wondering if she had that up there so that she could say that all of the people who left comments for her last night were "standing with her" in spite of what the content of their actual comment was.

Speaking of comments, mine went a little bit like this...
I told her that i once respected her, but was gravely concerned with her behavior this primary season. I also told her that we all needed to put our own desires and ambitions behind us and focus on beating the repubs in Nov... said that i believed that Obama was the candidate best equipped to do that. Asked her "for the love of God and country" to do the right thing, drop out and throw her support wholeheartedly behind our nominee.
