For the first time, I am excited!
The long, grueling primary is over. Now we have a nominee. He wasn't my first choice. Back months ago, when my candidate got defeated, I didn't think I would get this excited over our eventual nominee. But the clouds have lifted with Obama's win.

I know it sounds silly, but I bought T-shirts for the whole family from Obama's website today. (Note: you need more shirts for kids. There's a onesie (sp?) for babies on there, and it looks like the rest of the t-shirts are for adults. My 2 year old needs one. She's cute and she will bring a lot of voters with her. I bought her an extra-small woman's t-shirt. I think she may be able to use it as a nightgown).

I will look forward to the General Election! Go Obama!
