Down Ticket Democrats Will NOT Put Hillary On The Ticket As VP. Her Support is Very Narrow
Edited on Wed Jun-04-08 08:48 AM by cryingshame
within the Democratic Party insiders. To suggest that'd they be able to force her name as VP candidate on the floor of the Convention and then to further push it through is ludicrous.

The Clintons have a lot in common with the Republican party. Like Tom Delay and K-Street, they've twisted arms and then held out their hands and demanded money. They've punished those who exhibited support to anyone the Clintons deemed unworthy.

People in the Democratic party are SICK of them. Yes, there's a small core of supporters and loyalists. But not enough.

If the Clintons try this, they will lose and really be humiliated.

Why would any down-ticket Democrat want Hillary on as VP? Why would they support that? The Clintons don't have the only donor list. In fact, it seems some of her money people have already jumped ship.

And Obama's donor and activist list dwarves that of Hillary's. He has what he built and Kerry built and what Daschle built.

He has the National Organization of Women.

And as for the electorate- if Hillary has this huge following WHY IS SHE IN DEBT? Why couldn't she raise enough to pay her bills?

4. Hillary is down ticket poison.
No one wants to run with Hillary at the top of the ticket. The party does not want to have her name or game anywhere near the race this fall. And Bubba? Forget it. How can Obama run if he has to wonder what outrageous thing Hill or Bill is going to hang around his neck tonight?

6. My guess, Hillary and Bill are making calls today and finding out they're not as in demand
as their inflated sense of self thought.

7. I agree. The party is relieved she will not be the nominee.
Now, if Hill and Bill will just step back and try to be good Democrats, not the center of the Democratic party.

8. She's a downticket chainsaw massacre.
Super Delegates have to run for office in November, they know it would be suicide to run on a ticket with her ANYWHERE ON IT.
