A breakdown of how many times each candidate said "me" or "I" last night...
I wanted to check out last night who these speeches were really about last night, the candidate or the country. In last night's speeches, here are the totals:

Obama

Total word count: 2462

I (or variation - I'm, I'll, I've, etc): 25 times
Me: 1 time

HRC

Total word count: 2246

I (or variation - I'm, I'll, I've, etc): 62 times
Me: 19 times

So who is this campaign really about? Senator Clinton brought it back to being about her more that 3x as much as Obama and her speech was slightly shorter.

2. I have never actually done a word count like that, but certainly have noticed...
that difference, and in fact have posted similarly about this before.

11. You are forgetting the chants... Yes "She" Will!
Even the supporters at her rally's know it's about her.

Is it that they exect her to do it for them rather than do for themself. When she says that she will give them this and she will give them that... is it that the believe her, want to believe her, or just think that they can't help get it themselves.

Very different mindset from Obama supporters.

15. we/us
HRC:

Us: 4 times
We: 25 times

Obama:

Us: 9 times
We: 36 times

I should break down how many times each candidate said "you" or "our" but I gotta go to work.

8. A substantiative difference, that.
And reflective of leadership style. Ask anyone who's been in the military whether an officer or senior NCO who said 'I, me' instead of 'you, us, we' was someone who was generally well-regarded by his or her subordinates.

Hillary comes across as a raging egomaniac; it's all about her.

that she didnt concede and how this was all about her. So I figured I'd check to see if my feelings had some true basis or if it was bias.

22. An interesting comment made on Huffington Post about the rally signs
pbziegler

She picked a place to give that speech where there were no TV monitors, no cell phone access and where she could create her own reality of victory. Totally nuts.
Also I was struck by something I have noticed throughout the campaign. When McCain spoke the audience carried "McCain" signs. When Hillary spoke the audience carried "Hillary" signs. When Obama spoke there was not one sign saying Obama. Only "Change we can Believe In." Throughout his campaign he keeps talking, not about himself and what he's do and will do, but that he believes in the power of people when they understand the score and are not being fed an endless stream of BS. This, to me, is just as amazing as the fact that a black man won the nomination of one of the major American political parties.
Now let's work to put him in the White House.

28. Are you done yet? No really, are you?
The primary is over. She all but conceded that last night and I expect she will in the next day or so.

Let get together and stop the bashing on all sides, as a group we need to unite and the constant anti-Hillary or Anti-Obama posts here are getting in the way of that.

35. She didn't concede last night; she gave what sounded like a victory speech.
That's what almost everyone I know who heard it got out of it; not one bit of recognition that she's lost, and that it's over, and more of the 'popular vote!' nonsense.

37. Marrah...last night should have been Obama's night.
It was a historic win and regardless of the candidate you chose we all should have been proud.

The fact that she made that speech excessively about her was very telling to me.

It is time for the Junior Senator from NY to step down with grace and dignity.

38. I thought it was his night - in fact for the first time I actually enjoyed his speech
Her supporters know what time it is, she knows what time it is, she will concede in a day or so.

She will also be able to fully and enthusiastically get behind Obama and bring her supporters along with her.

I'm trying very hard to hop on board the Obama train. He has my support, but frankly the viciousness of the last two days towards her is a huge turn off for those of us trying to throw our support behind Obama.

Rather then celebrating or praising Obama's historic nomination we are left still defending Hillary.

Do you get what I am saying?

Hillary though is not doing herself any favors by not showing some grace and class here. I hope you are right and hope she does the right thing, she is just not giving any indication that she will allow Obama his victory.
