There are many Independents and Republicans who do not like the Clintons. When I campaigned for Clark in 2004 there was a lot of resistance by such voters b/c they thought he was a Clinton pawn. Fortunately, Obama does NOT have that problem.

My father-in-law is rallying Republicans and Independents for Obama. The fact that Obama is NOT viewed as part of the Clinton gang is a MAJOR PLUS with these voters. I've found that it is also a plus with former Nader voters.

Only her radical, fringe supporters might not come on board. But disillusioned Republicans, Independents, and former Nader voters will get on board in greater numbers.

Our country is in real trouble. We need to come together as AMERICANS to solve these problems or NOTHING will change. We need to turn the page on partisan politics (of which the Clintons are a part).

For VP, Schweitzer, Schweitzer, Schweitzer. An Obama/Schweitzer ticket would overshadow ANY McCain combination. Schweitzer will make Romney look like a plastic phony and he will overpower Hucklebee's likable persona. He can also hammer the McCain without turning off voters.

Schweitzer REINFORCES all of Obama's positives (a non-politician, change (they have both spoke about changing the world), are for the average American, an outside the box thinker, appeals to Republicans, etc.) and will keep the GOP from negatively defining Obama.

Plus he WILL DELIVER the rural votes. They will love the man in OH, PA, and WV. And he can hammer the GOP without turning off the public. Obama needs a VP that will reinforce his change message, it will no longer be politics as usual, while passing the national security test. Passing this test is NOT a matter of resume. By his mere presence, Schweitzer will be viewed as being able to keep this nation safe.

Obama should start campaigning with possible VP picks to see how it works out. Obama/Schweitzer would be such an exciting ticket that they would win in a landslide. Plus, Schweitzer would be a great help in pushing the Democratic agenda through Congress. The excitement for this ticket would also help ease the disappointment of some Clinton supporters. Older women will love him.

Here is an article on Schweitzer.

2. Brian Schweitzer?
Who?

Sorry, but I don't think he will pick a no-name.

3. Do you think working class Americans know the majority of VP possibilities?
The WORKING CLASS will rally behind a Obama/Schweitzer ticket. What a narrative that would be.

As far as the Clintons go, they have name recognition but the problem is that MANY Americans have a negative opinion of them.
