This was his moment. He earned that nomination and he fought hard.

and that he is the honest winner. What I read into his expression is disappointment that she did not turn out to be a better person. Michele has a furrowed brow which is characteristic of a 'thinking type.' She has strong lines between her nose and lips. Some people misread her expression which is that of a thinking type as her being 'angry'. I never have. I have similar lines on my face and my own sister misreads my expressions. She thinks grimacing (sometimes in pain from MS) means I was 'looking down' on her.
