That means Hillary supporters have to realize she won't be the nominee and it's either a third Bush term or a chance to pull this country out of the hell we've gone through for 8 years.

It also means that Obama supporters such as myself have to realize that there are a lot of Hillary supporters out there who we need on board come November. And if Hillary is willing to be gracious, concede soon, endorse Obama and be a strong supporter, well...good. And maybe she would bring something to the VP spot. Worth a consideration at least. I welcome her support. I just want to win this damn thing.

1. It's about time.
Can we now kick Joe Lieberman out the party as well?

2. He ran as an independent, so he is out of the party anyway.
When we get more seats in the fall, we need to pressure our Senators to make it official. He does not deserve any committee assignments. He should not be allowed to caucus with our Senators.

3. Give the Hillary backers some time to grieve.
In some ways it is like the death of a dream when the candidate you passionately support is no longer in the race.

5. exactly. i would be absolutely heartbroken if i had the passion
that so many of them have.

as it was--i just plain old didn't have much passion one way or the other. i liked them both, i started with one, moved to the other, and never worked up that "heat of the moment" over anyone. (i don't know why)

so yes, they do need grieving time. it is totally like a death.
