What Obama should say to Hillary re VP slot: I'm going to pick the person who will help the ticket

If in say a month or so, it is clear you can't rally your people to me, I'm looking at someone who can maybe bring me a state or two like one of the VA guys or Richardson or someone who can help me with national defense like Clark.

If you can get all your supporters to agree to vote for me, you might get a spot on the ticket.

Oh, and don't hold me hostage by saying "I can't get my people unless I'm VP." If you are as strong as you say you are and your ppl are as loyal to you as you say they are, they'll come to me if you tell them to.



(He'd have to put it more nicely though, but I think she might get the hint.)

that is an interesting strategy. I think it would work on almost any sane person, of course that is a stretch for hillary right now, doesn't seem like sane and rational are in her emotional tool kit lately...
