Well at least she finally answered the freaking phone....
"They speak, but don't plan a meeting

Carrie Budoff Brown reports that Clinton and Obama talked a few minutes ago, at 12:16 a.m., Obama spokesman Robert Gibbs said.

Obama reiterated his offer to "sit down when it made sense for you."

She thanked him for the call, but they made no plans to meet Wednesday"

There is something seriously wrong with her!!!!

26. Give her a day or two.
You know what's funny? If the shoe were on the other foot here, and she was the first woman to get the nomination for President and Obama didn't congratulate her, the Hillary supporters would be upset. This is historic. She could have been the bigger person and mentioned it in her speech. She congratulated him for running, not for winning. Would they have wanted to give him a day or two?

49. Same as if she has bad judgement when she's "tired."
Which was Bill's excuse for her for a number of gaffes.

Hey Bill, I wouldn't give someone who had "bad judgment when tired" the keys to my friggin' CAR.

Please exit graciously.

45. only 12 hours ago, I was arguing that she really was not that bad and
that perhaps the V.P. slot for her was not such a bad idea after all.

In fact I spent almost three hours working on that post and compiling the argument in a both accurate and convincing way:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=132x6251816

But the crass and vulgar stunt she pulled last night demonstrated a level of immaturity and irresponsibility - that is truly breath taking.

I'm afraid she burnt a lot of bridges last night. And many of those who were ready to give her a break find sustaining that argument impossible.

46. I can go along with giving her a day or two, but
she still could have been much more magnanimous in her speech. For one thing, she never recognized Obama as the presumptive nominee, but that is only a small slight. More importantly, the "what does Hillary want" part and saying she was "making no decisions tonight" sounded to me like a threat to give her the veep slot or else.

If that was her intention she once again got terrible advice because now, if Obama was inclined to make her his veep, he will look like he capitulated to her threats and will be weak as president. She made it impossible for him to choose her now as veep, the complete opposite of what she wants (and clearly she does want to be veep based on yesterday's campaign leaks and Lanny Davis' silly 'petition').

52. Interesting phrasing....
"sit down when it made sense for you."

Usually it would be something like 'when you have time' or 'whenever you are available', imo.

Is Obama saying, in essence, 'when you realize you will not be VP'? or 'when you can accept the primary race is over'?

Very interesting phrasing from a man who knows how important and influential phrasing is.
