No popular vote bullshit, no VP demands, nothing. Just fucking concede. Until she does, she's as much part of the opposition as John McCain is -- perhaps more, given how destructive she can be.

43. Look at the Freakin Talking Points they put out tonight >>>
ELECTION NIGHT

*Tonight, Sen. Clinton is on the verge of winning in South Dakota, a state
Sen. Obama’s campaign predicted he would win by 15 points. Hillary’s
supporters never gave up on her, and she refused to quit on them, fighting
to make sure every voice was heard in this election.

*Regardless of the outcomes, Hillary will be making no decisions tonight. In
the coming days, she will be consulting with supporters and party leaders to
determine how to move forward. The best interests of our party and our
country will guide her thinking.

*No matter who the nominee is, Hillary is committed to unifying our party.
Hillary and Senator Obama’s shared views are much greater than their
differences.

*Sen. Obama is a talented public servant who has inspired and energized
millions of Americans. And we have a more vibrant party and democracy
because of the extraordinary campaign he has run.

*Today, Senator Clinton was asked whether she was open to the idea of
running as Vice-President and repeated what she has said before: she will do
whatever she can to ensure that Democrats take the White House back and
defeat John McCain.

*Over the course of this historic campaign, 18 million people have voted for
Hillary Clinton—more than anyone else in the history of the Democratic
primaries.

*18 million have cast their ballots for Hillary because they believe she is
best prepared to lead our country as commander in chief and begin turning
around our economy from her first day in office.

*Hillary’s candidacy has attracted a broad coalition of new voters. Millions
of new women, Latinos and people over 45 voted in the primaries for the
first time.

*Hillary will never stop fighting for the issues she cares about—providing
universal health care, expanding economic opportunity and restoring
America’s leadership in the world. She knows there is nothing we can’t
accomplish if we start acting like Americans again.

8. Hillary was narcissistic, shameless, classless, treacherous.............
Only a few hours ago I wrote a post urging people to understand that Hillary is really not so bad and perhaps she wouldn't be that bad of a V.P.nominee:

http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=132&topic_id=6251816&mesg_id=6251816

Her shameful behavior has left me completely speechless

If she can't be gracious in defeat, then why should we be graceful to her? She has to earn my respect back, because she took it away a long time ago.

11. I really believe she will always be the enemy.
She has never backed off any of the things that have made her the enemy:

IWR. Cluster bombs. Knifing Kerry in the back. Endorsing McCain over Obama. And so many other attacks on Obama.

Anything she might to to make one think she is no longer the enemy is a feint. A misdirection. She cannot be trusted, and that is why I will never vote for her again. (And I live in NY)

My cousin and best friend in NY will do likewise.

I never cared for HRC but her IWR vote did it for me. With this despicable, not ready on day one campaign, she has shown her true loathsome self.

So I totally agree: she will always be the enemy.

I watched her speech but maybe I missed something, because I don't get where all this anger is coming from.
She talked about working for the party - she didn't bad mouth Obama.
So what if she didn't drop out tonight?
Give her folks sometime for crying out loud.

Obama has the nomination no matter what, Let's celebrate that with something other than the typical democratic circular firing line please.

20. Bottom line: Hillary Clinton has no integrity. Therefore, she has no business being President.
We've suffered from governance by those who lack honesty and integrity.

We really do need to make a change in this area.

This is a very selfish person. She is putting a lot of her supporters in very difficult positions.

30. What she did wasn't sunny in any way and a lot of people
are tired of Ms. Inevitable Obliterater and her drama and her social deafness.

Had John Edwards been in her position, this would be a really different night. John Edwards is a gracious man. He would have congratulated Obama on his win and he would have made inroads into working together with him. By this time, we'd likely have an Obama/Edwards ticket -- because John Edwards understands social gestures unlike your "gal".

27. No, she isn't...
...and I speak as an Obama supporter from the start of the campaign.

Hillary isn't the enemy. She's a rival candidate who ran against him for five months and lost. She and her supporters are, right now, feeling about as bad as, say, the New England Patriots did after losing the Super Bowl.

It's too much to expect her to make the abrupt transition from "fighting" to conceding and endorsing over the course of a few hours, just as it's too much to expect those supporters who were devoted to her cause to instantaneously reconcile themselves to supporting Obama this fall. Give them this time to grieve. Remember, there are still almost three months to the convention. I'd be surprised if we all aren't united to take back the White House by long before then.

31. It's not too much to expect. How many times have we witnessed
a losing candidate be gracious on nights like this?

It's not too much to expect for Clinton to manage the same social skills. And her inability to do the right thing only makes it harder for her supporters to move on. She's irresponsible, at best.

She is like somebody who took too much acid and decided to make herself an issue and a self-aggrandized, self-important charlatan.

It's amusing to watch at first, but after a while, she is really meaningless at this point. She pretty much gave away any chance that she will be VP, probably because the Obama team told her to get lost.

That's ridiculous. You know, I have previously managed to miss the hate from Obama supporters that the HRC people keep talking about. Don't you think Obama has a better idea of what Hillary is doing behind the scenes than you do? He's worked with her in the Senate, he knows what kind of politics she plays, and why. Let him deal with it. What's important is to unify the party around the nominee. That's what this summer is for. By August, we will be one big happy family.
