It's not the Bush economy that's collapsing. It's the Clinton economy that's collapsing. Low interest rates sounded wonderful. Particularly to corporations like World Com and Enron and so many others. It allowed them to borrow at low interest rates to cook their books with.

He and Greenspan brought us what everyone thinks was a wonderful economy. It was. For the corporate crooks and the hedge fund managers and the energy traders. California was ripped off by Enron while Clinton was in office. Not while Bush was in office.

Makes me ill to think anyone at this point would regard Bill Clinton as the best president we've had. He was one of the worst.
