what I'm witnessing here on DU -- with respect to HRC's speech -- with all of the fast and furious posts, lol, is very unsettling.

Recall:

The aide said that guys like me were "in what we call the reality-based community," which he defined as people who "believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality." ... "That's not the way the world really works anymore," he continued.

"We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors…and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do."

The reality is that we have a country with its economy in crisis, debt that our grandchildren will be paying off, declining jobs and wages, skyrocketing energy prices and millions of people going without health care, among other things.

People can play all the games they want on the internet, but our problems need to be solved in the real world.

soon to be newly-elected President, come November, who will begin work immediately to solve those real world problems.
