RELAX people she knows it's over
The speech was a look back, a thank you, and despite that unfortunate line about not making any decisions, that's just Clintonian parsing. The decision has been made and she's a realist and she knows the decision has been made.

1. she continues to drop below my expectations
...so I won't relax until she formally concedes, and Obama has picked a different person for VP.

4. I swear people are just clueless- They don't even know what they just saw
Everyone is far to consumed with hatred to even see clearly.

11. She needed to say it.
TONIGHT. So that Obama could be up and it would be HIS night. She tried to turn it into her night. Not cool.

14. Its NOT about Obama. Its about the millions and millions of American Voters
many of whom voted to Clinton.

6. I tend to agree with that.
It seemed like a retrospective/thank you speech. If she had conceded right away, it would have blunted the effect.

7. If she can't make a decision when the math says another person has won
...Then she clearly does not have the reasoning it takes to be President.

10. I totally agree -- people in here are nuts tonight...
A traitor to the party? Come on. It was a valedictory speech that started out by praising Obama and his supporters. Nearly every statement was in the past tense. There was nothing in there (despite the chants from her supporters) about going to Denver or in any way further contesting the election.

Hillary has some clout in the Democratic Party. If not Vice President, then she clearly wants some concessions on her key issues and her future with the Party. She's worked hard enough over the last year and a half to deserve that.

My guess is that we'll have closure within a week.

In the meantime, Barak Obama is our nominee. Rather than blowing a gasket and sending your blood pressure through the roof. Relax. Have a cold one and enjoy the fact we made history tonight.

12. She's known for at least a week
if not more. She's staying in the race now in the hopes of winning something from Obama-- maybe the VP slot.
