21. he sure is
they did a great job of giving his positions on issues from foreign policy, health care, environment, economics. and most of their answers were long just like john kerry's are, which is good since you get more information and specific details out of it. and it was nice to see that many of the students were interested and informed enough to ask important questions such as on the trade issues.

10. This paragraph really got me...
What’s ironic is that Kerry has been tagged a wooden Al Gore clone when in truth he cannot mask his emotions. No matter how hard he tries to follow the dictates of stay-on-message discipline, it’s all out there. In the space of one single mid-October day of rolling interviews in New Hampshire, he went from the sound-bite banalities of robo-candidate (“There’s a real test here as to who can lead America to a better place”) to stunning bursts of candor. (“At the ripe old age of 11, I was sent to boarding school. Homesick? I cried for three weeks straight.”)

I find this endearing. John Kerry is obviously a sensitive, serious man who--by the way, has a lifetime record of fighting for liberal causes--causes that I hold dear.

I saw Vanessa at the hardball appearance and his birthday party-- she's so nice. This is the first time I've seen Christ, but he's doing great!

9. Student asks about foriegn policy. Good answer from Vanessa.
She says Kerry will go to the UN within two weeks of being sworn in and engage other countries. "My father is aware that our well being is tied to global security."

13. No surprise.
Supporting both Kerry and Kucinich makes sense to me. I love both of their progressive stands and how they both fought government corruption when everyone in the powerstructures were against them.

15. John AND Teresa Heinz Kerry will be the best for the environment
If planet earth is your one and only concern then you cannot do better. JK is WAAAAAAAAAY ahead in environmental endorsements alone.

19. heinz said kucinich and kerry
are the most progressive, with kucinich being a bit more. and kerry has a huge long record to prove it. i'm thinking of making a bumper sticker, button, and something else with a short message to help get others to look at kerry. maybe something that says he has the highest approval ratings of anyone from the league of conservative voters. just something that will get people to look into his record more. not many people know about the things kerry did like take on environmental racism, nuclear proliferation, women's rights. and i think people also should look into his current proposals for the country, especially the environment. his foreign policy including things like bringing the world's religious leaders to discuss issues is very good also.

20. I see so many similarities
in the basic thought process of the two men. Like the progressivism is coming from a deeper place within their souls. I think both of their lengthy records of working towards progressive goals and fighting the corruption of big business and government powerstructures puts them in great stead in my book.
