Say No to Hillary as VP
These rumours keep popping up, driven mainly be the media's need to talk about something I imagine. But just in case, please take a moment to contact the Obama campaign and urge them not to consider Hillary for VP

15. Sen. McCaskill is also a DINO.............
I don't want anyone as unpredictable as she one heartbeat from the Presidency. I can't tell you how many times I have been disappointed with her votes to enable the * regime since she took her seat in January '07.

I'm from Missouri and I only pray for more progressive Democratic candidates to run against both her and that $hitstain repuke Sen. Kit Bond the next time their sets come up.

19. this, for what its worth from www.americablog.com
"Hillary is now trying to rally her major donors to help her stay in the race beyond this week (her campaign is talking about challenging Michigan now), and at the same time the donors are magically, on their very own (nudge nudge wink wink) demanding that Hillary stay in the race until the convention.

"A Clinton donor tells me that on a conference call today with major fundraisers this afternoon, Harold Ickes told them Clinton isn't planning to drop out. He pressed donors to stay unified, and reviewed tactical options, including challenging the Michigan delegation.

"State finance committees are also circulating letters to deliver to Clinton tomorrow in New York, and I've obtained a draft of the Illinois finance committee's letter, being circulated by a Clinton fundraising aide, Rafi Jafri, which stresses a fight until the convention, and a resolution in "August, and no earlier."

I guess the fat lady, so to speak, might not be singing yet.

25. I can pretty much guarantee it won't be mcCaskill
She's been in the Senate for a year and a half, and Missouri has a republican governor who'd replace her. Either fact rules her out.

32. Fully agree. Sebelius would be a FAR better choice besides...
And yeah, lets not lose any Senate seats in the VP selection. This is why Obama shouldn't pick Mark Warner even though he would flat out give us VA in a way that Jim Webb would not. Bottom line, if we lose Mark Warner in the VA senate race, we lose a Senate seat.

But Sebelius is recognized as one of the best governors, is appealing to independents and repubs, is Catholic, and has a father that used to be governor of Ohio. Two senators on the ticket is badness, unless there are TONS of other positives.

21. If Michelle was worried that some nut would hear
about Clinton's remark and shoot her husband, then she should balme her husband's campaign for making sure everyone heard about Clinton's remark. To quote the NY Times (Seeyle, (5/26/08): "Shortly after Mrs. Clinton spoke on Friday, the Obama campaign jumped on the story, sending an e-mail message to reporters saying her comment had no place in a presidential campaign. It linked to a online report in The New York Post that said Mrs. Clinton was ''making an odd comparison between the dead candidate and Barack Obama—a phrase the newspaper later dropped."

And by the way, only an idiot would draw Olbermann's conclusion that Clinton implied that she was staying in the race hoping that something terrible would happen.

but it's OK for us to have a preference.
Sebelius has the same air of calm awareness
that Obama does.
She could easily be the first female President

We don't need an "attack-dog" veep (like you know who).
Thats the old politics we hope to get away from.
