Duty
As American citizens, the Constitution imparts particular responsibilities upon its citizenry.

The primary responsibility, is to vote.

For all of you Democrats out there who say you won't vote unless your candidate is the nominee, I accuse you of being irresponsible in the exercise of your Constitutional obligations.

YOU MUST VOTE.

I care WHO you vote for, sure. But I'm not going to make any suggestions about that. If you don't like the Dem candidate, vote for another party's candidate. AS LONG AS YOU VOTE.

The Constitution, while it does not say so in specific language, also requires the voter to comport themselves in a manner that best suits the needs of the country. In other words, the Constitution requires its citizenry not only to vote, but to use the power of that vote, responsibly. So the Constitution requires us to vote, and to vote for the best interests of the country as a whole.

If you are a disgruntled Democrat who decides to vote, let's say for the sake of argument, for McCain - for no better reason than your Dem candidate did not win the primary and your vote is the "best" revenge you can get to salve your disappointment, then I accuse you again of being irresponsible in the exercise of your Constitutional obligations.

So, to recap: VOTE - and in doing so, exercise the power your vote represents for your COUNTRY'S sake - not merely for your own ego's sake.

It is, after all, your Constitutional duty.
