Barack has won. Hillary has lost. Period.

You remember how President Johnson said "We have lost the South for a generation," after he signed the Civil Rights Act Of 1964?

If party insiders take the nomination away from Barack Obama, which he has won fair and square, the Democrats will lose the African-American vote for at least as long, and that will spell DOOM for the Democratic Party.

Consequently, the United States of America will be doomed as well. Even one more far-right justice on the Supreme Court will mean the permanent end of the Great Writ Of Habeas Corpus, and thus the end of the idea of America as anything resembling a free country.

I urge those Clinton supporters that are pushing for a convention fight to think long and hard about that.

Please! Think carefully.

We have to have a Democrat for the next President to give the Supreme Court back its liberal slant. The Supreme Court is the last place where the citizens can appeal against an oppressive government. The courts need to be on our side, not the side of the government.
