In December, the Hillary campaign was repeatedly spouting the talking point that the ONLY metric that matters is delegates.
It was ONE of the few times they've told the truth about something in this election cycle.
They were right... the ONLY metric that matters is delegates.
Talking about who has the most popular vote is no different than talking about who has the cutest kids. It is not a metric that matters ONE whit.
Football games aren't decided on "most yards". Baseball games are not decided on "most hits". Hockey games are not decided on "most shots on goal".
...and the Democratic nomination race is not decided on popular vote, who does best in a current polling snapshot of the GE, or who's been more guilty of sexism/racism.
It is decided by ONE thing only: delegates.
Any thread discussing the "score" that uses ANY other metric, is a worthless thread.
