I firmly believe that Hillary will NOT get anything from Obama...
Not even a Cabinet position..

Just *MAYBE* Ambassador to Iraq - if she's up for it (since she did support the war and has not apologized for it)

But other than that, she'll be stuck as a miserable Junior Senator from New York.

If they aren't going to vote for him, they weren't going to vote for a Democratic in the first place.

18. I think there are more
Republicans that would stay home or vote for Obama if Hillary were "NOT" on the ticket. Put her on the ticket and they all come out to vote for McCain no matter how much they hate him, they hate her more!

Hillary is NOT going to help Obama by being on the ticket, nor will she help herself in 2012 if he loses in November! Of course I honestly think her chances of ever being the democratic nominee are over after last Friday!

Seriously, I KNOW Republicans who have expressed this exact thought... people who are also swing voters who lean more Republican who have absolutely VOWED to flip to McCain if Hillary gets the nomination. As I see it, that 20%+ of Republicans who are voting for Huckabee or Ron Paul are up for grabs, probably mostly by Bob Barr and the Constitution Party if they have a nominee this time around. They'll scatter to different places, some to McCain and some not. Hillary is the glue that keeps the Republicans together. If she's in, they're unified against her in greater numbers than the nutjobs who think Obama is a scary Muslim with a nutty Christian pastor.

21. And I hope they feel some satisfaction screwing up their lives
and those of many other people simply out of spite. Because they'll have to live on that satisfaction for a long time. McCain has nothing for them - nothing for anyone who calls him or herself a Democrat.

Maybe she could get the new position of Secretary of Nod Nod, Clap Clap, Point Point because at all of her fake political rallies that is all I've seen her do.

where she'll be voted out next election by the good people of NY who are now thoroughly disgusted with her. Serves her right. And we'll finally be done with her and Bill. Can't wait for that day.

15. I think that is why the last two weeks she has gotten more strident about
continuing all the way to the convention. She has gotten the word. No deal.

Momma isn't happy and she is acting out.

They cannot believe that they not only lost but they don't get any concession prize for it either.

Now here is something to think about. What happens if after firmly telling her no and winning the nomination and things go smoothly they do a hard assessment and decide that she would be the best (for whatever reason) I could see Obama selecting her on that basis, but not because she is presurring for it.

I thought liberals were a bit more enlightened, but I guess in the end, my fellow liberals are just as petty and childish as the wingtards.

rather than hope she can somehow still get the Presidency.

24. HRC may very well get the VP nomination, and the ticket may very well win w/her on it, but ...
I think that there is an increased and unnecessary risk of not getting the Repukes out HOPEFULLY FOR A VERY LONG TIME IF NOT FOR GOOD of the White House come Jan 2009.

They have really fucked over this country something awful

19. HRC is pure poison to any Obama ticket. The repubs will use all of HRC's own
talking points against the ticket. Fortunately, She has burned too many bridges to be a viable VP for Obama. She won't be in his cabinet either since he isn't dumb enough to take in someone who would back stab him in a second for her own gain.

23. No need to create more animosity w/in Dem Party; but I am one who OPPOSES HRC for VP nomination ...
as other choices would involve less risk of Obama losing with candidates as well or better suited for the presidency

During the Indy 500, she tried to change the channel!
Can you imagine that?

Swear to gawd, that damned cat tries to change channels on me again, and out the window she goes!

This is the 2nd time I've caught her trying to push my buttons!
