Where I live is predominately conserv repubs who are nuts over Bush. It was nice to see this little piece in a letter to the editor.

An Aug. 4 letter invited readers to visit an anti-John-Kerry Website that purportedly contains the truth about John Kerry's service in Vietnam as told by his shipmates. This site and other anti-Kerry Websites are nothing but fronts for Republican propaganda activities aimed at John Kerry. These sites are paid for by the Republican National Committee, and their content is written by the RNC. The best-known of these anti-Kerry sites, "Swift Boat Veterans for the Truth,'' is headed by a wealthy Republican attorney from Houston, a major donor to George Bush, and a Republican lobbyist.

One wonders why the Bush administration is running a campaign that uses shadowy front organizations to attack John Kerry. Why doesn't Bush run on his own achievements instead of attacking Kerry with lies and fabrications? Maybe we all know the answer to that question.
