Eye opening video on The election in Kentucky (Race)
http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/5/22/142132/498/133/520573

it is from Al Jazeera through the Daily Kos

doesn't make me angry it makes me sad. These people are struggling yet their racism and ignorance is what keeps voting against their interest. Didn't they vote to re-elect their crazy Senator last time

17. I feel a little sorry for the Clinton volunteers that went to
...W. Va. and Kentucky.

Can you imagine?

It must have been an eye-opener!

5. And many of those people were very careful to make sure no one would...
think that they were racists... That disgusts me beyond belief.

11. Sarcasm.
I need to switch back to my Obama avatar. It causes less confusion in these circumstances.

15. Some said Obama should have spent more time campaigning in Kentucky.
I understand why he didn't waste his time in rural Ky if this is any indication of how many of them think. There would be little, if anything, he could have said to open their minds.

Hopefully, this time next year they will know President Obama has no intention of forcing them to the back of the bus. Who knows, maybe one day they will even learn to respect him.

20. when i think i have it hard
i see some stuff like that and i have it pretty good. he should have went in there with a food drive. that is ridiculous that they are suffering like that. it doesn't matter if they hate me or obama-that shouldn't stop us from reaching out to them somehow. we really are becoming a 3rd world country.
