Hagee Finally Said Something That McCain Really Disagrees With...

At least enough so to reject his endorsement.

So let me get this straight:

-Hitler performing the will of God = Unacceptable

...but...

-The Catholic Church being the "great whore"

AND

-Katrina being a punishment to New Orleans for their gay-pride parade

= ACCEPTABLE?? Or at least, not bad enough to reject the guy's endorsement?

I've no doubt that Olbermann is going to be all over this tonight.

And I hope that McCain's press entourage really presses the question to him as well. I'd love to see him lose it and blatantly admit, "Listen, I couldn't reject him because I need to pander to the fuckin' Fundies".

And his whole trying to turn it around into a Wright-Obama issue is just laughable. Clearly Obama hesitated to reject Wright BECAUSE of that long personal relationship that McCain reiterated. But what exactly was McCain's reason for balking? Hmmmm?

I mean, Jesus, I have zero political skills and I can easily pull his defense apart. If this is all he's got, he's in serious trouble.

Ladies and Gentlemen, fellow democratic party supporters, we have a mission now.

We have to make sure that every neutral blogger, ever jewish-centric political forum, and every news outlet knows exactly who Hagee is by the end of this week. We have to make sure that every time the Reverend Wright scandal is mentioned on the net and in the blogosphere, one of us is there to remind voters about Hagee.

This is far worse than the Reverend Wright scandal. At least Obama didn't ask Rev. Wright for an endorsement.

8. Had nothing to do with disagreeing--Hagee said something that....

was insulting to Jewish voters and that, my friend, is where McCain draws the line.

All the other groups--gays, women, liberals, whatever--McCain does't give a rat's ass. But threaten the Jewish voters and your ass is grass.
