I bet Hillary is pretty pissed off at Rumsfeld
for fucking up the Iraq war....

The year is 2002, it's fall, the run-up to the war. The nation is still in it's post 9-11 jingoism and the right wing is in full war mode along with Lieberman. Bush's approval ratings are still high and Hillary has a decision to make; vote for or against. At this moment in time she and everyone around her know she is running for President in 2008. That means it will be five years after we go to war in Iraq. We have the power of the U.S. Air Force, Marines, Army, Navy; and Saddam didn't have shit except some crappy ass tanks and ground troops.

So, you are Hillary...thinking about what Iraq will be like five years after the invasion. Oil paying for everything like they said, people free, a U.S. friendly government in place. So, do you vote against the jingoism of the Country, or vote against the war and look like one of those liberal pussies. She went with the political calculation and voted for the war; and was wrong. Then, the Bush administration fucked EVERYTHING up beyond belief. Read "Bush at War" by Bob Woodward for the details :)

So, I imagine Hillary is pretty pissed off at Rumsfeld still today

Time for change of Politics of the past...

Time for OBAMA!!!

GOBAMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

3. She didn't have many reasons to trust the Bush admin and did it anyway.

4. "Saddam didn't have shit except some crappy ass tanks and ground troops"?
What about the 38,000 liters of botulinum toxin, 500 tons of sarin, mustard and VX nerve agent, mobile biological weapons labs and uranium from africa?

You know, the stuff Hillary agreed existed? Unless she'd taken time to read the classified NIE like Senator Graham did and realized that these claims were largely bullshit.

Don't give her an out, i say.

6. I was smart enough to predict the disastrous consequences.
And I'm just some schmuck. So was Obama. And Dean. And half of the other congressional democrats. Why couldn't she? Because hawkishness is one of the tenets of the DLC?

8. Perhaps she thought we had to destroy the village in order to save it.
With Hillary in the role of saver-in-chief of course.
