The Clintons Continue to Move the Goal Posts Because Their True Goal Post is 2012.
I've had enough of excuse making for this couple.

Chris Matthews called it correctly. Keith Olbermann has said it. Saturday Night Live has even said it. In fact, it's clear at the Daily Kos, the Huffington Post, MoveOn.Org and every progressive blog in the country, the Clintons are clearly setting up Hillary's run in 2012.

The Clintons are carefully building up their organizations in each state for 2012.

The ever shifting goal posts and metrics by the Clintons have been a sorry spectacle to behold. Rather than following the official rules of the party, the Clintons have weaved and bobbed about where "their goal post" was: At first is was the "significant states" and "the states that matter", but that morphed to the "states with electoral votes" and then on to "the popular votes" and on to the "super delegate votes" or to "the primary voters". Keith Olbermann spent nearly 10 minutes ridiculing the Clintons as he delivered a play by play on that moving goal post.

Today, Hillary now says she'll take her fight to the Convention in August. August? Yes, she's moved it still one more time.

But the goal post is not August.

The Clintons goal post is 2012 after a weakened nominee with only 8 weeks to put together a national campaign will lose to John McCain.

2012. That's the Clintons' goal post.

2. I don't think so.....
She is in it to win it. She has something up her sleeve. She bided her time and sat out '04, and she is determined this is her year. She's not going anywhere til no stone is left unturned and the dem party is left in massive disaray, hollering "omg, we could have had hillary".

The burning of the village has begun.

4. Please don't say she has something up her sleeve. That's very scary.
If she "wins" despite Obama's winning the majority of pledged delegates, it will destroy the party and hand the White House - and the country - over to the neocons. :scared:

8. Sorry.
I've not posted much here for two weeks because I'm too angry at the Clintons. My post just revealed how deep that distaste is.

Sorry, Yael.

10. Not a problem David.
The "fail" comment was in reference to her campaign, not you.

9. 2012? Only because she screwed up and lost in 2008.
And if Obama does become president, there's a far better chance of him being re-elected, than there is of her successfully running in 2012.

11. I think even if Obama wins, she might still be looking at 2012.
Whomever wins this year is going to have a tough, challenging, up and down 4 years. Even with Obama in the WH Clinton will be uniquely positioned to say "I said this would happen! You should have chosen me back in 2008".

I say this because Obama is going to win the GE this year....should be easy.

I can't think of any more reasonable explanation for her staying in as long as this.... (other than McCains VP slot or suspecting that an Obama scandal will surface before the convention.)

13. Fuck all the Clintons.....
They are a selfish self serving bunch of Assholes. They are so corporate they out right stink up the Democratic Party. Bill opened up the gates to move jobs overseas with NAFTA, and he keeps making money and funding this idiotic undemocratic campaign for the selfish Clintons by lobbying for trade deals. WTF is wrong with the Hillary supporters. They must all ignore the the truth for some kind of blind loyalty. The time has come for a new America without the old out of date Clintons. Wake the fuck up!
