Alan Keyes candidacy is another example of GOP racism
The GOP have long since written off Illinois as a loss.

But rather than offering up another rich, white, good old boy to suffer the humiliation of getting his butt whipped by a black man, they called in one of the house negroes to take the beating instead.

with Al Sharpton, Ralph Nader, and the the guy who collected the recall signatures in California at his expense only to be told he had too much of a "loser image" to run against Gray Davis.

but he is suppose to be anti-affirmative action...ummmmmmmmmmmm sounds like a contradiction to me. Then again Keyes is a barrel of contradictions, bless his poor pathetic soul!!!!
