African Americans spotted at Laura Bush speech in Michigan
No lie. I just saw it on TV. In fact, there were three African Americans in the auditorium. Two of them were up on the stage, right where the TV cameras will be focusing on Pickles, (coincidence, I'm sure) and the third African-American was the reporter for channel 7 WXYZ TV news. A slow pan of the audience showed that there were no other African-Americans in the room.
What were the Republicans saying just last week about a certain political party taking a certain racial group for granted? Maybe the Bush advance team needs to assemble a bus full of African Americans and take them to all the rallies to help diversify the audiences at their speeches. Of course, they won't take that bus to their CCC speeches, but that's another post entirely.

3. Maybe they weren't even counted by the GOP orchestrated census undercount
How the heck can they vote, if they don't even exist?

2. Were they....................
holding lanterns? I can't imagine Republicans having real African Americans in attendance for any other reason.

5. Then those on the bus
could clean up after the event was over.
Haven't seen any real speeches by Laura but am I the only one that would like to see her debate Heinz-Kerry? Laura could even pick the language unless it was dubyaspeak.

6. Correction:
A subsequent TV broadcast showed that there were actually five or six African-Americans on that stage, while another pan of the audience showed that there still weren't any in the regular audience. Still a coincidence, I'm sure.
