the small fundraising reception for Obama in Maitland tomorrow night.....I hope it will give me the chance to see him up close and personal. I just got my confirmation back that I have a spot. I am ecstatic!!!!

Many years ago I went to a political rally in SC where GWB was campaigning for his father. I went home and told my wife that I thought GWB was "arrogant" and "likely crazy" and a "draft dogger". I remember thinking that he would NEVER be a President with that attitude. Taught me a lesson!

I was A-1 in the Vietnam draft.

Amazing what you learn when you see the candidates face-to-face!
