The Hillary supporters won't answer some easy questions about their candidate
like which states and how many votes from each those states add up to her popular vote lead.

go for it, nobody yet will answer this question.

1. You can't do it without completely ignoring the caucuses.
It is ironic since they are demanding that Florida and Michigan be seated as is.

2. all her supporters have to do is put the numbers right here and shame all of us
but in this thread and 2 others getting a lot of traffic from them tonight, we've got nothing of the sort.

so who is lying?

3. Since this is YOUR contention...
why don't you do the work and list them all for us?

That way you could make your point without flamebaiting.

Voted for Hillary today.

4. because I can't find a way to make it add up to a lead and include all the states
that's why. i'm wiling to lay it all out there but i can't find a way to count it out and get that result.

now if it's a true result, then show us why it's true.

5. asking a civil question about real numbers is NOT "flamebaiting"
Edited on Mon May-19-08 10:26 PM by havocmom
If ya don't like the question, refute or ignore; either would be a more mature, credible response than sniveling.

edited for typo

6. He can't prove her wrong - any known estimate for caucus votes has her winning popular vote -its the
"unknown" that Obama supporters hang their hat on as in "the exact caucus vote totals are not known" (or at least not released to the public) in some states so estimates must be used

8. i asked you for the estimates
if you are so knowledgable that there are estimates from ALL states, give us a link to them

otherwise i'm calling bullshit. you don't even know she's got a popular vote lead while counting all states, you just don't know and none of you, not even one of you will post the numbers. it's not rocket science, it's just simple addition, we need the numbers and the states and you can make me look incredibly stupid --well stupider! :dunce:

10. okay i have the answer
the only result where she wins the popular vote includes Michigan and EXCLUDES Iowa, Nevada, Maine and Washington (and counts those states as zero ZERO)...where estimates are included for those four states, Obama again leads in the popular vote metric.

so the idea of insisting that all votes be counted, then touting a vote lead that excludes four states is a FRAUD.

11. ummm no....
http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/democratic_vote_count.html

six lines down from the top is the total with FL, MI, and Estimates of IA, ME, WA, and NV:

Obama +83,225

It's ridiculous anyways that it would even be considered a plausible argument. The fact that this joke of an argument still puts Clinton behind actually makes it almost a funny one.

13. the drugs must be good in Hillaryland
her calculations have to exclude all caucus states, have to only give MI delegates to her, and have to ignore the flood of super delegates who have endorsed Obama over the last two weeks... including former Clinton pledged delegates.

She is now also down 16 points in the latest Gallup Poll among democrats. She has less than 40% support of those who identify as democrats (which negates the "operation chaos" votes that ppl know took place in my state b/c ppl came right out and said it... and still she only won by 1%.)

She cannot draw crowds to her rallies in the ways that Obama does because she does not inspire any hope for change because she is part of the same old dynastic politics controlled by a few rich fuckers who want to dictate foreign policy and make sure America isn't "too"democratic.

If she stole the nomination she would kill the democratic party. She would cause huge losses on down ticket races because of the number of people who would not vote for someone who stole the primary. She and you both need to accept that she is not the person who would best serve party interests as the candidate. The primary is too far gone and it is clear Obama is the favorite among people all over the nation, simply by the crowds he inspires.

I guess this is war, isn't it? The democratic party powers that be from the DLC do not want to admit that they are considered as bankrupt as the republicans. But they are.

7. Repeat it as often as needed.
There is no popular vote.

Caucus states don't have a popular vote.
