Why Clinton's attack ads against Dole worked, and Bush's attack ads don't.

Kerry sucks only gets Bush so far and he has nothing else to say. He can't talk about having created jobs since he didn't. He can't talk about paying down debt, since he didn't. He can't talk about making us safer, since he didn't. He can't even talk about reducing abortions, since he didn't do that either.

7. Clintons "attacks" on Dole were pretty tame

Really Dole never had a chance, Clinton just sort of kicked him every once in a while to keep him on the canvas.
