1. not surprised by that
there are not many Hillary fans out here. Most believe she is the daughter of the devil. There's alot of Obama bumper stickers and such. McCain is not wildly popular here either. Is Obama picking off the Omaha electoral vote too much to ask for?

3. Guess what? Both Lose!
Obama does better in red states than Clinton, but both lose. Clinton does better in swing states than Obama, and she therefore wins more EVs. The only way Obama could get any EVs out of New Hampshire (by Congressional district) is if the election is MUCH closer.

4. But I must say that Obama's is a lag that he can easily diminish......
with a few campaign stops, a good Veep, and folks getting to know him. I actually think that if he doing this well, considering the beating that Hillary unleashed on him, he has a fighting chance....yes, even in a state like Nebraska. There is six months to go, and he hasn't even begun to fight McCain in the way that he will.

So perhaps it is not a state that he will win, but the fact is we can get some congressional seats out of there, and we can't ever say never when talking about Barack.

5. However, you fail to realize forcing the GOP to throw money at safe states HELPS US.
If all these safe Republican states go to weak Republican, even if Obama doesn't win 'em all, it will force McCain to campaign in these states and throw money at 'em just to keep them Republican. That's an advantage for Democrats, because it takes more money and campaign stops out of swing states. Republicans can't afford to be spending the final weeks of their campaign in states they should easily win. With Obama as the candidate, I believe that's exactly what will happen.
