It's up to Hillary supporters to join the winning side
I don't see why Obama supporters need to court the Hillary supporters for their vote. If Hillary is really such the Democrat as her loyalists are so quick to claim, then she, and her supporters will back Barack Obama, the Democratic nominee.

I'm a Kucinich supporter and I'm backing the Democratic nominee. I didn't need Barack Obama to be for universal health care or gay marriage or gun control. He's wrong on all those issues just like Hillary, but he won the nomination, people. It happened about two months ago when he took Wisconsin.

So spare me, Hillary holdouts. Get with the program or get lost. There's such a thing as being a sore loser. How do you think the rest of us felt when our candidates lost? If you need others to convince you to vote for Obama over McCain this November, you're beyond help anyway.

Thanks but my husband does a good job of that, even after 37 years of marriage.

20. See, that's the great paradox. If we have to convince and suck
up to you as to why you should vote for Obama, then you aren't really a Democrat. Good Democrats get on board without condition. Lukewarm Democrats can vote for McCain at their own detriment and the detriment of the entire country. If that makes sense to them then this country has much bigger problems than someone getting their feelings hurt on an internet board.

35. Try not to confuse "it's time to move on to the GE and
we will not suck up comments as cocky and bitchy." If I was a HRC supporter and a female, I would most likely be using faux outrage to call you a sexist for using the word bitchy. That occured daily here but HRC supporters are somehow outraged by the way they were treated.

As I have posted many times, both sides said nasty things. No one side more than the other. When it is officially over, the nastiness will subside. The problem is, HRC is making it worse by protracting the fight.

As anyone knows by now, any thread bashing Hillary Clinton or telling her supporters to "get with the program" will get scores of recommendations, whether or not the thread is actually worthy of them. Used to be a thread recommendation actually meant something.

And I pretty much have never stopped saying it ever since.

But then, I'm also not an Obama booster. I would much prefer he get the Dem nomination, but that's simply because he's the only candidate left who's not Hillary Clinton.

60. I was watching C-Span this morning and the subject was
2008 House and Senate race. They wanted to know how you would vote. There were several calls from Hillary supporters blaming Obama for her loss and swearing to vote for McCain for President. These women blamed Obama for everything with one stating that the Democratic party needed to pay for electing Obama over Hillary. If the women on the two other hate Obama websites get their wish and start this large movement to elect McCain out of revenge. What do they think happens to her Presidential bid the next time around? Do they think people will forget the massacre of our party and vote for Hillary? I think not, especially if things get worse than they are now. I know I won't forget or forgive, and I'm sure there will be a massive amount of people that will share that sentiment.

In the beginning I was for John Edwards his campaign just couldn't seem to take off. I don't blame either of the remaining candidates for the failure of mine. I read the other sites and the vitriol coming from people that are supposed to be caregivers is unreal. You know your heart is hateful when you seek advice from Limbaugh and Hannity and conspire to tank Obama's candidacy because your candidate didn't win. I swear I don't think these women are real Democrat's. They are just women that want to see a women in the White House and are trying to turn good, decent women against Obama by saying the most ignorant and hateful things over and over like Carl Rove has taught the Republicans.

64. What makes anyone think that most Hillary supporters
who won't vote for Obama will vote for McCain? This is just another one of those talking points ramped up and repeated over and over go spread guilt trips.

The main problem that started all of this crap in the first place was how Obama has been painted perfect and has been pushed and pushed by his loyal supporters. At the same time there has been nothing but endless Hillary bashing from sound clips and childish jokes.

Each voter will make their own choice when it comes time and no one here or anywhere else will change this.

Perhaps if the Obama supporters were a lot less forceful and bash crazed there would not be a split party. Now after so many Obama supporters shot their mouths off without thought it's time for all to jump on the Obama wagon, well it does not work quite like that.

Well no one is perfect by a long shot.

69. Any real Democrat will vote for Obama in November.
Any other action (or inaction) and they are voting for McCain and showing their true loyalities to the GOP.

74. Hillary supporters do not have to kiss up to anybody.
Most will be writing Hill in or refusing to vote for President. It is our right. Obama has no right to our vote whatsoever.

Flame away, I'm out of here.

76. Get with the program or get lost?
Well gee, that convinces me. :eyes:

Believe it or not, some of us don't take well to bullying and don't measure our votes as "winners or "losers".

78. You mean McCain?
No way - he's an angry old warmonger, who wants to increase military spending in the face of all logic, and stay in Iraq another 100 years. I will never sink that low.

I might vote for Nader, though. Or Senator Clinton if she runs third-party.
