Prediction: McCain begins to distance himself from Bush after the Knesset remarks...
After the fury that has followed Bush opening his mouth in Jerusalem, I think that our soon-to-be-former President is going to be looked at as a liability now more than ever. Democrats clearly have the high ground here, especially Obama since he doesn't have a pro-war record. The Middle Eastern foreign policy blunders have been the GOPs undoing for five years now, and it will harm them for years to come. Between that and the Ron Paul movement, the Republican party is in some serious doo-doo.

1. I guess you haven't heard who McCain's foreign policy team is.
Basically, he's taken on the wing of PNAC that was too crazy for Dick Cheney. Those Nazi lunatics will probably say that Chimp didn't go far enough in what he said.

2. Ever since I heard about McCain's "League of Democracies" proposal, I knew he was a neocon.
He definitely is Bush's 3rd term.

4. Too crazy for Dick Cheney???
The world would end as we know it if McCain won... America loathes Dick Cheney, thankfully. He's had an approval rating in the teens for years...

6. I certainly hope Obama starts openly talking about PNAC, Bush and McCain
And ties all the foreign policy blunders together in a neat little package. We have got to rid ourselves of that cancerous bunch who are waiting in the wings to continue their plan.

5. I understand there was a standing ovation after bush made those

remarks. Seems to me that if they gave bush a standing O, and McCain knows this is obama's weak suit (national security and foreign relations)then why would McCain distance himself from bush? McCain will stay this course and you want to understand why? Or are you thinking fear no longer works at election time?

7. McCain already responded
He's standing his ground against Obama.

He fell into the trap completely.

8. Yep, he already said he agreed with GW and even added to it.
Grandpa told us if Obama talks to Iran and convinces them to do what it takes to convince the world they aren't going to nuke anyone and live in peace with their neighbors regardless of their beliefs then that's the same as handing Poland over to Hitler.

Grandpa been sipping too much Geratol.
