After the fury that has followed Bush opening his mouth in Jerusalem, I think that our soon-to-be-former President is going to be looked at as a liability now more than ever. Democrats clearly have the high ground here, especially Obama since he doesn't have a pro-war record. The Middle Eastern foreign policy blunders have been the GOPs undoing for five years now, and it will harm them for years to come. Between that and the Ron Paul movement, the Republican party is in some serious doo-doo.

remarks. Seems to me that if they gave bush a standing O, and McCain knows this is obama's weak suit (national security and foreign relations)then why would McCain distance himself from bush?
