I find it funny that suggesting an endorsement of a candidate at this time is about the safest time one could do so is somehow evidence of an agenda.

I was surprised by the negativity of his opinion of Edwards's endorsement. Hence my question.

I don't remember him as being harsh to Edwards when he was still in the race but I could be wrong.
