6. Gore won't do it. He would be my pick for President in a NY minute
However, that has gone from dream to delusion....

But, this would be a great ticket!

10. I kind of meant Attorney General,

13. He would be a FANTASTIC Attorney General, but he doesn't seem to be going in that direction

He is doing an anti-poverty initiative and he seems more committed to social issues.

It will be interesting.

12. I'd want Edwards as Labor or HUD Secretary...
I want Constitutional Lawyer/Bulldog Jonathan Turley as the AG.

We will need someone of with a strong Constitutional law background to take on the Bush packed courts, prosecute the criminals of this administration and restore the rights of citizens.

15. Good points.
Someone is going to have to restore the Constitution after 8 years of "IT'S JUST A GOD DAMN PIECE OF PAPER" Bush and his cronies fucking with the document.

22. I like the thought of Edwards as a tie-breaker...
...in a Senate where Lieberman still sits. But AG would make me happy indeed.

14. Hillary needs to go away. I have had it with her.

She would be a nightmare on Obama's ticket, no dream...

Edwards having run with Kerry in 2004 and not helping much
is going to hurt his chances a lot. Which sucks since I really admire him and like his message.

11. Actually, since Kerry won the Presidency but had it stolen
He helped a lot.

Edwards wanted to take them on. But, alas, Kerry didn't want to be called a sore loser. He helped win once. And, this time he would be on with a guy who would actually fight against the corruption.

18. That's not true - Edwards wanted to wait to concede till next moring - Kerry agreed with him
Edited on Wed May-14-08 05:27 PM by blm
Do you honestly believe that if Kerry, who uncovered more government corruption than ANY LAwWMAKER in modern history, had a shred of legal evidence he wouldn't have used it?

Do you honestly believe that Edwards would stay silent all these years and not speak out about that night if he knew there was evidence that would have changed the outcome?

Try keeping perspective.

Some of you folks run with that story about Edwards and it simply did not happen as the internet myth claims - and there has been a number of political reporters who have asked Edwards about this and would have given him all the ink he needed, but he would always play it down.

Give Edwards some credit - if the internet myth WAS true, then he'd be one huge asshat to not share the legal case he could have made with Kerry or anyone else, especially the Dem party.

At this point, it is one of the two worse tickets. I think we may agree on the other one.
