1. They're a bunch of black eggheads anyway. The only Americans who count are poor white Appalachians.

3. I spent part of my Grade School Years in Nebraska.
It was the suburbs of Omaha.

But I do know that "There's no place like Nebraska!"

Go Big Red! :patriot:

4. I'm confused...it's not caucus (which shouldn't count, but did), but he won it, too...
(which should count, but doesn't)...

7. Democratic turnout was dismally low.
http://www.sos.ne.gov/elec/2008/ElectNight/primary.htm

Democratic turnout was dismally low. We're always outnumbered by the Republicans, but they didn't caucus, so their primary vote mattered in the presidential election. I don't know what to make of these numbers but, peruse them to your heart's content.

86% counted
Clinton 47% -- 43,640
Gravel 4$ -- 3,864
Obama 49% -- 46,297

8. actually, the turn out wasn't bad.......
Because the Ron Paul voters will never vote for McCain. In fact, they are more likely to vote for Obama than they are for McCain come November.

9. That would be nice.
The Ron Paul supporters here are "in love." It would be nice if they'd swing to Obama, but I wouldn't place any bets on it.

My candidates won tonight, so I'll take the wins where I can get 'em.

10. That count was much closer than I would have expected.
How many participated in the caucus earlier?

6. Yes, Barack Obama scored NEBRASKA win. I guess FARMERS and RANCHERS are not hard-working?

14. I guess you think Nebraska is comprised of farmers and ranchers primarily?
typical of latte sucking O supporters, I guess.

17. Hillary was ahead until the later votes, so I'd say Obama
probably did well in rural Nebraska. I don't know if we have results by precinct anywhere, but I'd think it's likely that rural Nebraska put Obama over the top.

19. Looking at county totals .. Douglas and Lancaster counties
went for Obama. That would be the "urban centers". So rural Nebraska, not so much for Obama.
