Clinton Camp: "Game Over!! We Scored!!"...
Edited on Tue May-13-08 06:45 PM by islandmkl
uhh, no...the game WAS over and you lost...and THEN you scored...

the importance of this W.Va. primary is only to allow hillary and crew to further attempt to diminish Barack's viability as OUR NOMINEE...

hillary and her 'brain trust' expected, anticipated, planned on all this being over on 02.05.08...

W.Va. was not important IN ANY SENSE then to hillary...the reality is that it is of no more importance to this primary contest today...

"damage control by un-controlled damage" seems to be the clinton program from here on out...

4. I'm happy to congratulate them on this win, but their celebration party
would probably be pretty lame.

This is like being down 25 points with two minutes to play and one of their guys scores with a wicked dunk. The dunk was cool and should show up on the highlights, but the crowd then sits down and remembers that the game is still pretty much over.

7. It's a swing state, right? So it caries some importance.
I think Obama should have campaigned there more.

Not that it affects his candidacy at all.

9. It's like a blowout football game...
Where one team's creaming the other one 42-0, and it's the fourth quarter, and the winning team's retiring their star players so they don't get hurt and letting their second-stringers have a chance to play. Sure, when that happens, the losing team will have an easier time, and be able to score a touchdown or two, but in the end, the score's still gonna be 42-14.

11. When did the Hillary camp say the game was over?
I don't get the joke. It would have worked if the Hil camp had actually said that WV meant that she had won the primaries.
