Kucinich Supporters!
Soon it shall be time to comfort the supporters of a presidential candidate, who shall not be president. We who know the disappointment of our dreams and ideals being removed from national consideration have the experience and compassion to salve the wounds that others shall soon experience. It is up to us to distribute hugs and support, to turn all eyes upon the larger picture in spite of personal preference.

I say to all who have passionately supported a Democratic candidate for office,

HUZZAH!

You have made a difference.

(All three.)

1. I salved my wounds by switching support to Edwards, then to Obama.
There really weren't any Kucinich wounds to salve, because I knew he would go nowhere -- but was worthy of suppport, nonetheless.

My Edwards wounds were slight, because it soon became clear that he was likewise going nowhere, though that was most unfortunate, given the issue he raised.

I soon drowned my sorrows in the exhileration of the Obama campaign, especially after his Philly speech on race. After that speech, had either Kucinich or Edwards still been in the race, I might still have switched to Obama.

But given all this, I don't really have much background for salving HRC wounds, except for this: A DEMOCRAT IS VERY LIKELY TO WIN THE PRESIDENCY! And this: and Dems may take many more seats in Congress. That should be salve enough.

6. That seems to be the path most DU'ers have taken, myself included
With a few brief forays into Clark Country, too ... and a donation to Dodd to thank him for his FISA fight.

I followed the same exact path as poster #1.

I knew Dennis was a long shot, but I loved having him participate in the nomination process. Anybody that supports impeachment is fine by me.

Edwards was #2 because of his anti-corporate and populist message.

Obama is magnificent. If there was one thing America could do to right it's path, having a President that's a Scholar on the Constitution is a great way to start!

3. i voted for dennis in illinois because i knew in my heart
my one vote would stop the obama band wagon allowing dennis to come back into the race...but alas my vote did`t stop obama...

i`m proud that i voted for the only candidate who had reasonable workable plans to get things done....

he`d make a good sec of housing and urban development

5. He's a good guy..
with great ideas. Shame the country won't take candidates like him seriously enough, but at least he is still able to do good things in Congress.

7. MSM framing
MSM framed Dennis as a UFO-ologist.

Which is a nice way of implying his platform was created by ALIENS from another world.

I wish he didn't brag about being the only one allowed to enjoy his hot and taller wife's tongue piercing.

My understanding of something like that is; "Yeah, I know I'm not the hottest guy in the planet, but check out my trophy wife, dude!

Or maybe I'm just jealous because his wife was indeed pierced and attractive>
